AGTERGROND / BACKGROUND
Die Hoërskool De Villiers Graaff is geleë in die pragtige Villiersdorp-vallei, slegs 100 km vanaf Kaapstad en sowat 37 km vanaf Franschhoek. Die dorp en omgewing word tereg die Suid-Afrikaanse Switzerland genoem daar die berge wat die dorp omring tydens die winter dikwels met sneeu bedek is.
The school was founded in 1872 and has since been offering quality education. Being an academic school our vision is to provide this to enable young people to accept the challenges of society on completion of their school career.
Die basis van ons onderrig is ‘n gedissiplineerde omgewing: daar word van leerders verwag om verstandige keuses te maak wel wetende dat hulle self die verantwoordelikheid van die gevolge daarvan moet neem.
We are a school where opportunities abound whether they be academic, sport, culture or spiritual. Our computer centre with 36 stations is network-linked; we have sports grounds second to none in the Boland; our swimming-pool is used for both the sport and social swimming; our hostels enable learners to socialize with fellow-learners and also acquire independence.
